Privacy
Short version: Colourise doesn't ask for your name, doesn't have accounts yet, doesn't show ads yet and doesn't track you. Your game progress stays on your own device.
What's saved, and where
To remember your progress, the game saves a small amount of data in your browser's local storage, on your device only. This includes:
- your daily results, guesses and streaks
- your paint wall, badges and best scores in Blitz and Reverse
- your settings: theme, sound, hard mode and colour-blind hints
This data isn't sent to us or anyone else. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Doing so resets your progress.
Sharing your result
The share text and share image are created on your device. They're only sent anywhere if you choose to share or save them yourself.
Fonts from Google
The game loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address as part of any normal web request. Google describes how it handles this in its privacy policy.
Cookies, ads and analytics
Colourise doesn't currently use cookies, advertising or analytics.
Children
Colourise is a general-audience game. It doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this page
If Colourise adds Google sign-in (so progress can follow you between devices) or ads, this page will be updated before those features go live, explaining what's collected and why.
